About the Program
The Merri-bek Festivals Development Program supports artists and producers in the creation of new performance, live art or participatory works to be premiered as part of the 2024 Fawkner Festa or 2025 Glenroy Festival.
The program will support up to two projects with a financial contribution of up to $10,000 for each project.
Who can apply?
The Merri-bek Festivals Development Program is an excellent opportunity which is open to artists or producers who are interested in creating new, innovative, and family-friendly work for the communities of Merri-bek.
A weighting will be given to applicants who live or work in Merri-bek, or to projects that have a demonstrated connection to Merri-bek. The program encourages applications from diverse communities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, migrant and refugee communities, people with disability, women, and LGBTIQA+.
How to apply
To apply for the Festivals Merri-bek Development Program please read all the information in the Merri-bek Festivals Development Program Expression of Interest document and fill out the form below.
Please note: You can submit sections of your Expression of Interest via recorded video presentation, simply talk to the camera and tell us about your project. To do so add a link to the video hosted online in the text sections as appropriate.
Applications close Thursday 2 May at 11:59PM. Late applications will not be accepted.
